Registration and mobilisation programme

For organisations requiring end-to-end support to prepare, register and mobilise a service. Delivered over an agreed period based on your starting position, property and leadership arrangements.

  1. Strategic foundations

    Service model, categories of care, organisational readiness, governance structure, Responsible Individual and Registered Manager arrangements, workforce planning and the mobilisation roadmap.

  2. Property and location

    Property readiness, compatibility with the service model, location considerations, safeguarding and environmental risks, and identification of the specialist surveys required.

  3. Registration documentation

    Statement of Purpose, Children's Guide, location risk assessment, workforce development plan, training matrix, safeguarding systems, core policies and application evidence.

  4. Leadership and workforce

    Responsible Individual and Registered Manager preparation, mock fit-person interviews, safer recruitment, induction planning, supervision and accountability.

  5. Operational mobilisation

    Referrals, impact risk assessment, placement matching, admissions, care planning, notifications, incident management, medication governance, recording systems and Regulation 44 and 45 readiness.

  6. Final readiness

    Pre-registration documentation review, on-site readiness visit, mock regulatory questioning, final action plan and leadership debrief before the registration visit.

What registration support does not cover

Being straight about the boundaries is part of the service.

  • Ofsted and CIW fees are not included
  • Planning, legal, fire safety, building control and surveying remain with appropriately qualified professionals
  • HR, accountancy and other regulated professional advice are not included
  • Consultancy does not guarantee registration
  • Consultancy does not guarantee the timing of a regulatory decision
  • The client remains responsible for its service, application and regulatory compliance
