Home/Who we support
Who we support
Children's homes, supported accommodation providers, new entrants to regulated care, established services seeking improvement, and the leaders responsible for all of them.
Organisations
Whether you are entering the sector or have been in it for years, the questions we get asked are usually about the same six things.
New providers entering children's social care
You have the intent and probably the capital. What you need is a realistic view of what registration and operation actually require.
Adult care providers moving into children's services
The regulatory framework, the evidence expectations and the workforce requirements are materially different. We help you see where the assumptions break.
Investors and property owners
Considering the purchase, lease or development of a property or group of premises for a regulated service, and needing an independent view before committing.
Children's home operators
Running one home or several, and wanting independent assurance rather than internal reassurance.
Supported accommodation providers
Operating provision for looked-after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17, across single or multiple premises.
Local authorities and commissioners
Requiring independent review of a provider, a service or a set of arrangements.

What we do not do
Our role is not simply to identify problems. We help organisations understand what must change, establish the right priorities and implement improvements that can be sustained in everyday practice. We support providers who genuinely want to improve, and we do not help organisations disguise poor practice.
